Hirameki FT, Hybrid Hakama.
A new hybrid fabric made of synthetic jersey fibers and Aizome cotton fibers. This new technology brings the best of both materials, diminishing their weaknesses as separate materials. It was developed by Matsukan, after hearing the recurrent feedbacks of many practitioners stating that nowadays most of the Bogu will absorb all the sweat when using polyester uniforms, damaging it in the long run if not properly cleaned. This fabric has cotton treads dyed with real indigo blue, which can absorb the sweat, mixed with polyester threads which are wrinkle-proof and light-weight, resulting in a super elastic fabric with beautiful appearance, that will not shrink as much as full cotton uniforms do and neither will become too wrinkled. Compared to a standard jersey uniform, it is thicker without losing its light-weight properties. It is also easier to wash and dry compared with 100% cotton uniforms, although you have to handle it with care due to the real Aizome, which will stain by the touch, particularly at the beginning.

The FT Hakama has all the pleats sewed, even on the back, granting a great shape even without folding it. The Obi-Himo are made with thin tip for easy tying.

* Aizome (indigo dyed) product: This is dyed using genuine Aizome; the color may leak/stain to the contact. Please handle it carefully to avoid touching clothes or objects. We also recommend to soak it in cold water and leave it for one night previous the first use, to remove the Aizome excess.

* When washing, we recommend to do it by hand, ideally on a bucket separate of other clothes. If using a washing machine, we suggest to put it inside a net. Never use a dryer machine! Please hang it until is completely dry, avoiding direct sunlight as much as possible.

* Is not abnormal to find orts (leftover snips of thread) hanging from the inside of the Hakama before or after the first use. Please check previous the first use if possible, and in case you found some loose threads hanging out do not pull them, just cut them with scissors!

* Normally, we recommend to approximate to the closest bigger size in case you are in between. However, it depends how high/low you use it. If you are unsure of your measurements, or need help deciding the correct size, please do not hesitate to contact us!

* Additionally, bigger than 100 cm of waist size might need a Himo Extension, which can be chosen in the options.

 

 

 

 

Warranty
We make a quality check after the products are finished at the workshop and before preparing the shipment, but in case that something was overlooked or one of the products from another maker has some kind of malfunction, and if you find any trouble with your purchase after receiving it, contact us immediately to help you out. If you think there is a problem after using all the purchased items for a while, you can also write to us, and we will analyze your case to check if we could offer you a solution in the way of repair, exchange, refund or a compensation in case it corresponds depending of the problem. But please be aware that not only all the protective gear that is used wrongly or in extreme situations will be damaged. Due to the normal use (sweat, friction, hits) and to the weather (direct sunlight, dryness, humidity) impacts over time, it is assumed that the condition of the product will decrease. Before contacting us, take the aforementioned into consideration, and if we found out the cause or reason of the problem is not due to a defective product or manufacture error, there will be no replacement, repair, refund or compensation whatsoever. *Products that have been subject to embroidery or customizations are not eligible for return, but can be repaired if necessary.
