Koto-Jissengata Tsukatan Shinai.
Chou is a Koto (straight body type) Jissengata (good for Shiai) with shorter grip Shinai, exclusively crafted for ladies. It can be assembled with a double Toko Tsukagawa. Great option for female Kendo players that use techniques aimed from far Maai, who also waits for the right opportunity to finish with a single strike. This Shinai will not only boost techniques that stretches from afar (thanks to the short grip) but also boost the Sae (the snap or sharpness needed to turn a strike into an Ippon) thanks to the balance and weight on the tip due to the Kotogata itself (helping to increase the power and definition of a strike).
* SSP Approval: This Shinai follows the actual All Japan Kendo Federation designated regulations.
* The size of Tsuba/Tsubadome set is designated by the Shinai size when the option for adding them is selected. If you want to buy a specific size of Tsuba/Tsubadome set, you need to purchase them as a separate item.
* Assembled Shinai; Leather fittings/parts included.

Very good shinai
Truly quality shinai! I am a Nito practitioner and I was looking for a different shinai from the recommended dobari style models for Nito. I wanted one light shinai but with a balance slightly more shifted towards the mono-uchi, for this reason I purchased a 38 and then proceeded to shorten it to bring it under 114cm. I started using it a few days ago and I'm very happy with it. The diameter of the tsuka is perfect for my hand and for using katate actions. The only negative side was the Italian customs which made me wait a long time and wanted a surcharge on the product.
